I run across some decent articles every now and then and feel like sharing them, so I thought maybe once a week I could kinda bring’em all to one place.
This first one is from the blog Firefighter Close Calls.com. The firefighters in the audience are familar with Billy Goldfeder’s comments, he’s not the most politically […]
Yesterday, while working on the crossword puzzle in the Richmond Times-Dispatch, one of the clues was “Pennsylvania Port City”. Four letters. Hmmm. Let me think about that. Erie?
This is the fourth time in the last year that Erie has been featured in the crossword puzzle, which I find very strange (my co-workers find it strange […]
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted. My computer finally had it’s nervous breakdown, and took a dirt nap on me.
But that’s no excuse! I did travel to Erie for Thanksgiving, which was nice since there was snow on the ground. I ate turkey, visited with the fam, and a few friends down at the Plymouth […]
Growing up, we had some extended family that lived in Girard Township within sight of the Gudgeonville Bridge. I remember being told how old it was and wondering how it could last so long.
Last night, someone lit it on fire and destroyed it for some reason. For the life of me, I can’t figure out […]
Sorry I haven’t posted, but I’ve been having major computer problems. I’ve been looking into replacing my HP laptop, even before these problems started. I’m seriously considering buying a Mac, knowing that they now can run Windows-based programs.

As always, let me know in […]

Have you heard of Accountable America? It is a left-wing group founded to intimidate GOP donors.
Michelle Malkin has the rundown here. Be sure to read the letter that Accountable America sends to GOP donors.
Then, read Iowahawk’s parody and have a good laugh!
This is good stuff. Brought to you by the good proletarians at the Karl Marx Treatment Center/People’s Cube.
This was Day 7, my friend Kevin and I went to one of our favorite places that we used to frequent all the time, and that is Oil Creek State Park. We took the bikes and enjoyed the 20 mile ride through the historical area of Petroleum Centre! If you haven’t had a chance to […]
Sorry for the last two weeks of non-existent blogging, I’ve had a lot of things going on, but don’t worry - this coming week I’ll be back at it - you have been warned!
Oh, and don’t forget Discover Presque Isle is going on this weekend, so if you’re in Erie it is a no-miss-event, so […]
I live in Richmond, VA and work as a firefighter, but I try to make as many trips back to Erie is as humanly and financially feasible.
Mixing Erie and politics can be dicey, but I'm gonna try to do it here!
