Ed Palattella filed a story on GoErie.com this morning which reveals an investigation into the dealings of the Tecnica Development Corporation, owned by Greg Rubino. Apparently, computer records have been obtained by the Attorney General as part of the investigation into payments made and received by Tecnica, which was involved with development of Presque Isle Downs and Casino.
This is the same Greg Rubino who is now trying to force feed Erie a tire disposal facility, known as Erie Renewable Energy.
The investigation is just beginning, but the results will bear watching. To me, this just adds another big question mark to the propriety of dealing with Mr Rubino in matters regarding the tire plant.
The records and hard drive were voluntarily turned over to the Attorney General’s office by a former Vice President of Tecnica, who is no longer part of the corporation.
Do we really need any more question marks?
I am a life-long resident of Erie County, twenty years of which were spent living in the City of Erie. I retired from the tool-and-die trade two years ago, and now have time to enjoy the opportunity to observe city and county goings-on in more depth.
I hope to create a venue to suggest new ideas and solutions to exisiting problems with my blog, 'What If?'.

In Erie all we ever get is question marks. What I would like is to see actual answers before jumping to conclusions. Alas, not to be, at least in Erie. Rubino is just as guilty via rumor and question marks as Flippi was in the public eye.
