As I ventured outside to retrieve my ETN this morning, something seemed different. Still snow on the ground? Yep. Ground still frozen? Yep. Then it hit me–the air smelled of Spring!! Ahhhhhh what a feeling. The sun (remember it?) coming up over the valley and sending a touch of warmth, two Robins singing in the lilac bushes, and the snowdrops peeking out in the side yard, all joined to remind me of why I love living in this area in the Springtime.
In honor of this joyful Easter Weekend, let’s all put our differences aside and rejoice in the beautiful season that is now upon us.
Happy Spring!!!!!!!
I am a life-long resident of Erie County, twenty years of which were spent living in the City of Erie. I retired from the tool-and-die trade two years ago, and now have time to enjoy the opportunity to observe city and county goings-on in more depth.
I hope to create a venue to suggest new ideas and solutions to exisiting problems with my blog, 'What If?'.
