Happy New Year, sports fans.
This is perhaps the best video example of what it feels like to watch Erie’s leadership at work on key economic issues.
Hat tip to William M. Hartnett’s journalism blog.
After more than six years working as a journalist in Erie, I'm now the web editor for the Chronicle of Philanthropy in Washington, D.C., and the publisher of GlobalErie.com. I still maintain close ties to Erie - a community that I care about deeply. I hope this Web site can help inspire a better future for Erie.

Yes, but do you really feel that our Erie Leaders are competent enough to use a knife? And at least this guy used his head, that’s a lot more than some of our council members do. Good one Peter!!!

I think you “hit the nail on the head” so to speak.

I think Erie Leaders would hold meetings to discuss the best knife to use, settle on a butter knife and use it upside down. Then hire an outside contractor to tell them to turn the knife around and if all else fails hire a knife cutter outsourced from Mexico.

It’s all Greek to me!
