You have undoubtedly noticed that this blog has a new look.
It’s still in beta phase, but if the reviews are strong, we’ll make it our official new design and roll it out on the other blogs in the GlobalErie Network.
In addition to the new color scheme and layout, we’ve set up a feed that allows users to see previews of the most recent comments and posts in the center column under my picture.
I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Is this a keeper?

About 'Outside Erie'
After more than six years working as a journalist in Erie, I'm now the web editor for the Chronicle of Philanthropy in Washington, D.C., and the publisher of GlobalErie.com. I still maintain close ties to Erie - a community that I care about deeply. I hope this Web site can help inspire a better future for Erie.

I like it a lot. I was going to suggest you showing recent comments but I didn’t really know how hard that might be.
If it’s at all possible showing the most recent comments from all the Outside Erie posts would be even better.
The rest of the setup is fine but I liked it before too.

There’s always one. I don’t like it.
When I magnify the page for easier reading, there is too much cut off.
Its selfish I know, but these old eyes need a break…

The page is definitely one of the widest that I use. Perhaps some ways to make the page narrower would be better, but that is not my call…

I think the site is much-improved, good work. My only suggestion is to put the title of each globalerie blog’s latest post below the link to each blog on the right of the screen. Everytime I go to the other goerie blog sites I like what I see but if I saw the current topic of discussion under the link I would probably visit more often.
